Beautiful grounds, excellent food, friendly and helpful staff and the manager, Imran, was always around to make sure everything is going smoothly. The restaurant has an excellent all you can eat buffet breakfast, and Boni (looks like an Indian Denzel Washington) is always friendly and attentive to anything in the dining room and kitchen, with Niraj always helpful as well. (Also Bonnie can set you up with the best deal on scooter rentals, the best way to get around and really see the area up close.) This is a very dog friendly resort where you can adopt a dog for your stay here for no extra charge! Bring dog snacks, a brush and toys if you want to spoil your Indian Pariah dog. They're all really sweet. The surf zone has lots of rocks, but it's all sand a short walk down the beach. ~ Eric

I stayed at Leela Cottages in Goa for 2–3 days with my friends, and the experience was absolutely amazing. The property has such a calm, laid-back vibe with a perfect mix of comfort and Goan charm. The cottages were cozy, well-maintained, and just a few steps away from the beach, which made the whole stay even more special. What really stood out was the hospitality – the staff was super welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel at home throughout our trip. Highly Recommend... Pure Tranquility... I loved my 4 night stay here... Excellent service and best place in Goa for sunset view with ease of access to food and drinks from restaurant and not too crowded on beach. In UK we dont get to see much of sun so this place felt like heaven at Sunset ❤️ I booked Ocean view Cottage... Spacious inside and excellent view... Morning view was amazing and surrounding gardens are very well maintained. Great menu for breakfast and enjoyed every meal inhouse with ocean view. If you are after chillaxing daytime and partying hard at night then this is where u need to be. We hired car for 5 days and visited surrounding areas... Marbella, Chronical and Club Cubana great places to hang out and party hard uptill 4am. A big thanks to Prakash for handling my booking and looking after us for our whole stay. I found this place by surfing on net. Simply superb location and property layout. Lushgreen ambience with coconut trees and palm trees and direct approach to Ashwem beach just within 50 steps with 2 very good in house resturents and dance floor. The property has huge fantastic variety collection of Hindu God and Godess. The rooms are precious,well designed and with batique feel with refrigerator, TV and electtic kettle. Beds are comfortable with good room service. Cleaning takes place everyday. Staff is very decent and cooperative.Internal furniture is also have some antique feel.I really do not find a single point to say negative about this property. ~ Suhas A

Leela Cottages lived up to and exceeded my every expectation. I stayed there with my friend between 5-8th November and we had the best time. The staff were so lovely and accommodating, even let us borrow a local charger as our adaptor wasn't working. The service was impeccable as the staff would bring us drinks and snacks to our room. The easy access to the beach was also a huge drawcard. It was the perfect place to spend some time recuperating after a busy year, swimming twice daily and eating yummy food was exactly what the doctor ordered. The rooms and the property were a tropical paradise with gorgeous and simple decor and so many lush plants. 100% recommend and can't wait to go back. ~ Ditaa C

We had a wonderful stay at the Leela Cottages! The rooms have a vintage, rustic charm — beautifully designed and thoughtfully put together, creating a very calming and aesthetic space to unwind. The location is unbeatable — right on the beach, which is serene, clean, and delightfully less crowded. It truly feels like a peaceful escape from the usual touristy buzz. I recently stayed at Leela Cottages for two nights and had a very enjoyable time there. The place is full of green grass and well-maintained palm trees giving a calm and refreshing vibe. The resort is located at the beach and gives a gorgeous view of the sea from its promenade. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a rustic themed furniture and art forms. Very thoughtfully designed. The front desk and staff is professional and very responsive. We had several adhoc requests that were attended to promptly. They went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable time. The food was delicious with large portions. The breakfast service speed could be improved though. The pool is small but quite clean and well maintained. Overall, if you're looking for a relaxed, peaceful stay at Ashwem, Leela Cottages is a great option, be it for a family, a couple, or a group of friends. ~ Denis D

The property is beautiful and filled with greenery. It open directly to the beach, although towards the rocky part. Ashwem beach is 2 mins drive from the property. Rooms are ultra spacious. The alignment of the furnitures and amenities were not convenient (tv was at an odd angle, lock was missing on bathroom door). Service was slow and average quality when it came to housekeeping. Overall service quality and customer experience could have been better to make this property an excellent stay for all. Pets are allowed in the property with an additional charge of INR 500 per day. Their restaurant Leela Beach Club serves great food alongside a great view of the Arabian sea. ~ Suneita

The entire fraternity of hospitality at Leela Cottage is absolutely spotless. The ambience is very cozy, with a thoughtfully placed pool that lets you enjoy it without worrying about tanning. The rooms are spacious and perfect for a family of four. The staff is very friendly, and Imran truly stands out with his rich experience from major 5-star hotels, managing the restaurant with great finesse and charm. My child’s birthday was celebrated perfectly—the décor was simple yet beautiful, especially for a windy day. And the biryani, even during a gas crisis, was absolutely delicious! Had a lovely 5 days stay at the Leela Cottages. Lovely rooms and beautiful sea side restaurant with a clean stretch of beach. Most of all was the service Imran from the front office was very cooperative and help full and made sure we were well looked after. Bonney , Susan and Mary from the restaurant were also attentive ....Bonny made lovely food recommendations and provided good service. All the staff r nice and we had a lovely experience. The experience at the spa was also exceptional. Sara and Koko (Koko is a very good therapist) where very good and Bidya at the reception is a gem....she is sweet and kind and polite and very helpfull....the spa is a must try. ~ Roshni V

Beautiful cottages comes with welcome drink . The manager is very helpful and polite.Rooms are beautiful with sculpture of Goddess all over the place.Located next to the Ashvem beach ,along with shacks and a small party space where I guess they kept for sundown parties. Love everything. About the space,pple,dj, food staff - breakfast is grand. They also have good food options, quantity might be less but food is definitely delicious.Hukaa is also serve here and they have a spa centre.Inhouse guest can avail some of the offers. Really wanted to be a part of there Friday and Saturday night but there is always a next time awaiting. ~ Sanyukta B

I have stayed here from 7th to 11th sept 2020, with awesome staff and owner. Smile on their face and eager to help you! Though they are 5 star rated but certainly upto the mark on my standard. In addition to that real good location with beachfront property. Must visit for those who are having pets as well since I came with mine and he enjoyed it lot roaming around without any leash. There are certain areas of improvement which I think they are working on it. We enjoyed this post covid vacation and we are refreshed now! Hope this review will help! ~ Shankh M

Leela Cottages has become my go to place in Goa. It’s a home away from home for me. The service and the food is excellent here. They are also open during monsoon and with in-house food you will barely feel the need to leave the property. It’s actually on the beach and the vibe is amazing. The staff is super courteous and helpful. This time I stayed there for over 10 days alone and I have never felt this safe. The in house spa is also great. Acy is one of the best therapist. It has everything in house and makes it a comfortable stay whenever in Goa. ~ kruthika s

We stayed for 3 nights at Leela cottages while we were visiting to India and it was a memorable experience. They have great friendly staff and the restaurant food quality is good and clean. They make breakfast which is warm and with fresh ingredients. You can also order any items that you like. Ambience is awesome, I love the rajasthani style furnitures, decor, looks very much like restoration hardware. I really like how Goa is friendly to pets same as this place as they chill with us, making it cozy like your home pets. The beach is a bit rocky but if you go left as you get down to the beach, its a nice, clean and quiet beach. We also visited public beach like Baga and made a u-turn coming back to our own seeing the amount of people there. My only recommendation is to make concrete pathway that is wheelchair friendly. Overall, we got a 5-star experience, I think this is going to be our little paradise when we go to Goa, our nice little getaways from other mainstream hotels ~ Peter D

They went above and beyond to set up the most beautiful proposal for my partner and me, making sure every detail was just perfect. They made us feel like family, and their warmth and kindness added so much to the experience. Now, with our anniversary coming up, I can’t believe how fast time has flown! We had an exceptional experience staying at Leela Cottages last December. The cottages are cute and comfortable and the premises peaceful and pristine, situated right on the beach. The sunsets from the back patio facing the ocean were magical against the backdrop of live sitar performances. The SERVICE was simply OUTSTANDING! We were three generations travelling (our toddler kid and our parents) and the team went out of their way to ensure every need of ours was met, whether it was preparing meals regularly without onion and garlic, playing our kid's favorite song during dinnertime or whether it was arranging medications when one of us got sick. Whatever it was, they had our backs. We got to know the staff members by name - Paritosh and Rahul, among others, who were exceptional. Our parents would only eat their meals at Leela Cottage because they trusted the staff there. Had a lovely 3 night stay in a well appointed private cottage in a beautiful garden by the beach. Two niggles however: First: The mineral water bottles in the room were refilled daily, rather than replaced sealed. We took the precaution to boil the water in kettle provided and had no problems. Second: The evenings at this end of Ashwem Beach were drowned in loud drum and bass from all the guest houses along the beach. It seemed to drive away guests. Regardless, we think Leela Cottages is a lovely resort. ~ Neil M

We spent 5 days here at Leela Cottages. The property has a lush surrounding, very well maintained green spaces with direct access to the beach. One wakes up to the call of birds and squirrels. The rooms are spacious but the chairs and beds could do with a bit of sprucing. We visited the spa on the property. It is small yet well maintained and hygienic. The therapist ( Koko) did a wonderful job. F&B : We dined at the restuarant as well as ordered room service. The meals were well prepared and delectable. Kudos to the chef and team. Infact the entire F&B crew are the stars. They went above and beyond to cater to our requests, even when the order was placed minutes before the kitchen closed!! The team were really hospitable and accommodating. , Thank you Benny at the restuarant, Mary , Nancy and the entire crew at the restuarant, ( sorry I don’t remember the young gentlemen’s names but they were most awesome). Had an amazing time at Leela with my fur baby Ponchu / Totto and my husband. A special shout out to Imran , the manager and the Chef who made our stay extra special. Would like to mention about the owner, Mr Prakash and his family members who ensured all the guests were being taken care. They are real pet friendly property where they ensure your pets are well taken care like they deserve. Their thoughts of co habitation with nature and their location are their key USPs. Very nice place and surprisingly quite affordable. The cottages are functional and tastefully done. The beach is a 2 minute walk from most cottages, as the hotel sits on the beachfront. Network reception could be better, and free wifi is available although it's slow and patchy in some parts. The restaurant Elevar is fantastic. Amazing views paired with delicious and great looking food. Must come to Elevar, even if you don't stay in Leela Cottages. ~ Rohan G

Really gorgeous property. Each room is far enough away from the next that you get a lot of privacy. The property is lush and green so you really feel like you are in nature. It is on the beach so you can literally just get up and go for a swim. Fabulous restaurant by the beach side called Elevar. A definite place to eat some yummy food. The breakfast that was included was very average, with everything else so outstanding I wish that could improve on that. ~ Vasundara S

A real cottage like feel where you can walk directly into one of the best beaches of Goa...Nestled right across the main Morjim road the resort has lots of plantation , well maintained lawns and regular cleaning schedules... perfect for families looking for beach enjoyment for their toddlers.. rooms are big ! breakfast menu is limited but they accommodated our requests for customized food items ! Overall will def recommend if looking out to stay in morjim ! ~ Nakul S
